Emma Smith and Mary Gosling are the two teens in question. Mary was born 2 February 1800 and Emma 27 September 1801. Sisters-of-the-heart, they became sisters-in-law in 1826.

Oh my, this is funny. Poor Mr. Bennet, married to Mrs. Bennet for 200 years! Well, I’ll say “thank-you, Mr. Bennet. We know that Mrs. Bennet could not last long in the world on her own and she adds a bit of ridiculousness that, I confess, part of me enjoys.”
