Re your research on Lady Mordaunt and daughter Emma – my Great Great Grandfather was John Halifax, the butler at the time of the 1841 census. I would love to receive information that you may have on the household. Thanking you in advance.

Hi, Sandra – how *thrilling* that you have caught sight of your Great Great Grandfather! I’m not sure what I have on the Mordaunt _household_, for Richard was often simply mentioning them or going off to see them – but I’ll certainly look. Just had a shiver of a thought: Your g-g-grandfather undoubtedly met my Richard and Fanny!
