bibliography & sources
for readers interested in the source materials, I have begun to locate some of the older books online (if available). Many books I own; others were inter-library loaned; some are only known in their online versions. I have a love-hate relationship with books.google (pages out of sequence, missing or hard-to-find volumes, bad scans) – but something is sometimes better than nothing. Internet Archive is preferred when there are two, but sometimes their source is books.google! I always prefer page scans to plain text (typed) books. KM January 2013
